This research study is designed to evaluate the effect of combining two student-centered instructional practices. I hope to learn whether project-based playwriting instruction has any effect on students' perceptions of the racial climate in their school, and whether the effect is any different if the project-based instruction is enhanced with a culturally relevant unit of study.
This site is designed to support teachers and teaching artists who are participating in the study. It is a supplement to the initial training you received. All of the resources mentioned during that training are here, along with additional materials to help you along the way.
